– EQUAL-Projekt Bridges over Borders (deutsche Fassung)
–
Menschen allen Alters werden angeregt, das Lernen wieder aufzunehmen.
Bridges over Borders ist ein paneuropäisches Projekt, das
durch den
Europäischen Sozialfond (ESF) unterstützt wird, mit
Partnern in
Großbritannien, Deutschland, Österreich, Tschechien
und Ungarn.
Es hilft Menschen, sich neuen Herausforderungen zu stellen, neue
Fähigkeiten zu entwickeln und ihre Talente zu entfalten.
Diese DVD zeigt Ihnen, wie das vor sich geht, wie weit Bridges over
Borders mit Engagement und Geldmitteln gehen möchte, und was
damit
erzielt wird.
„Neues Lernen“ ist eine Reise, die – wie
alle Reisen – mit dem ersten
Schritt beginnt. Diejenigen, die den ersten Schritt wagen, erreichen
viele Ziele.
Wege führen zu mehr Befähigung und zu
Möglichkeiten für mehr Wohlstand,
zu besserer Gesundheit und verstärktem Gefühl der
Erfüllung.
Es ist bekannt, dass Lernen zu Verbesserung des Gemeinschaftsgeistes,
zu verstärktem sozialem Bewusstsein zu
größerer Toleranz führen kann.
Bridges over Borders hat zum Ziel, alle jene Vorteile zu so vielen
Menschen wie möglich zu bringen und durch reale
Unterstüzuung und
Ermutigung Menschen dazu zu bewegen, diesen ersten Schritt zu
vollziehen.

Film „Changing Learning, Changing
Lives“
– EQUAL-Projekt Bridges over Borders (English version)
–
People of all ages have been encouraged to return to learning.
Bridges over Borders is a Pan-European project supported by the
European
Social Fund with partners in the UK, Germany, Austria, the Czech
Republic, and Hungary.
It helps new learners to take up the challenge of developing skills and
expanding their talents.
This DVD shows you how it's happening, what it's achieving and how far
with funding and commitment Bridges over Border would like to go.
New learning is a journey and like all journeys it starts with a single
step. It takes those who accept the challange to many destinations, to
greater empowerment, and the potential of increased prosperity, to the
offer of health benefits and an enhanced sense of fulfillment.
It's been shown that learning can lead to improvements in community
spirit, increased social awareness, and greater tolerance.
Bridges over Borders aims to bring all those benefits to as many and as
great a range of people as possible by offering real support and
encouragement for them to get started and to take that first step.

During the period 2005-2007, the 17 Development Partnerships from 9
Member States have worked together within 4 thematic
partnerships piloting, testing and exploring new ways of tackling
discrimination in the labour market. These themes were Gender Equality,
Lifelong Learning, Workplace Adaptability and Asylum Seekers/Refugees.
Throughout this period, the University of Birmingham has followed the
progress of the DPs, setting the context of their work alongside the
European Union Lisbon Objectives and European Employment Guidelines.

New Ways of Presenting Skills
– The Digital CV Project –
Practitioners from Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary and the
United Kingdom came together with a common goal to remove one of the
many barriers to employment experienced by disadvantaged groups. We
embarked on a skills based project – to develop a Digital CV
- that all partners would find valuable and could contribute to. We
wanted our project to be innovative and to reflect the spirit and
intent of the European Social Fund EQUAL Programme.

– Pilotprojekt im Landratsamt Cham –
Im Rahmen der Gender-Mainstreaming-Aktivitäten der
EU-geförderten Entwicklungspartnerschaft
„Brücken zur Arbeit/EQUAL-Ostbayern“
führte die Geschäftsstelle der EQUAL-Ostbayern-GmbH
bei ausgesuchten Partnern eine vertiefte Gender-Analyse durch. Das
Landratsamt Cham hatte sich bereit erklärt, als Vorreiter
dieses Pilotprojekt zu unterstützen und als erste Organisation
eine solche vertiefte Gender-Analyse durchführen zu lassen.
